The data was analyzed by using t-test. The finding also showed that the use of the simulation lab can provide better results than the traditional lab on learning outcomes. It occurred when there is an adequate software capability and students can operate the software properly. Without taking into account about the cost of procurement of computers and software programs Crocodile, lab simulations are very low cost because it does not need to purchase laboratory equipment, supplies and other consumables. It is expected that Crocodile Program not only as a practical method to implement but also as a medium to explain the concepts of electronic circuits. Akpan, J.

This study aims at developing a literacy-based instructional module on social arithmetic that can help the learning activities of grade VII students of Junior high school 1 of Gantarangkeke Bantaeng regency in order that they are more independent in reviewing, interpreting, interpreting, reasoning and communicating effectively and solving math problems in various contexts in everyday life. The type of this research is Research Development Research and Development by using modification of 4-D model combined with Romiszowski model. The model 4-D is taken only at the design level, especially on the aspect of choosing the teaching material development format, while the Romiszowski model includes three stages: 1 analysis, 2 synthesis and 3 evaluation, and all three stages are at the structural level of the second part of the Romiszowski model schema which emphasizes the development of printed materials in this case the product in the form of a learning module that meets the valid, practical and effective criteria. The results showed that the literacy-based math learning module meets the valid and practical criteria with a score of 3. Thus, the developed literacy-based math learning module has fulfilled the valid, practical and effective criteria. Keywords: model devepoment, media and technology, instruction. Abdullah, M.

This JID issue focuses on instructional design and the public schools. The present paper considers a curious paradox: Despite expressions of concern about the quality of instruction offered in schools, and despite the existence of considerable research and theory in the instructional design literature which might be of value for teachers, there seems to be a "gap" between the teacher education literature and the instructional design literature. Two major purposes of this paper are: a to consider the extent to which instructional design skills are relevant for teachers; and b to explore prospects and potential problems in helping teachers to learn and to use instructional design approaches and techniques. Download Snelbecker, Glenn E. Cognitivism has given rise to many evidence based education theories, including cognitive load theory, schema theory and dual coding theory as well as being the basis for retrieval practice. In cognitivism theory, learning occurs when the student reorganises information, either by finding new explanations or adapting Written to inform students of the main principles, concepts, and research findings of key theories of learning—especially as they relate to education—and to provide applications of principles and concepts in settings where teaching and learning occur, this revised text blends theory, research, and applications throughout, providing its readers with a coherent and unified perspective. Instructional design skills for classroom teachers
The overall goal of this particular course is to equip course participants with the knowledge of instructional theories comparing and discussing the relationships among learning theories, and their practical applications. The development of the knowledge on instructional theories will be fostered by a learning by design activities, and b opportunities to critique and evaluate applications of the theories. Readings for next week.
Glenn E. Snelbecker displays a deep concern, which I share, about the need to develop ways to build theories and conceptualizations from the study and practice of teaching. His excellent work is an attempt to relate learning theories, instructional theories, and psychoeducational design to one another

Snelbecker, Glenn E. McGraw-Hill Companies, There has always been a great deal of controversy concerning the means, if any, by which such infomiation might be utilized. Many psychologists who identify tllemselves primarily as scientists have suggested that it is necessary to have a comprehensive basic science theory of psychology before attempting application of any psychological principles and theories. As a result, applied psychology training programs have been based on the premise that one is a psychologist first and an educational or other applied psychologist secondly. The emphasis primarily has been on acquiring basic science principles about human and animal behaviors with little emphasis on developing the procedures by which such a bcdy of information can be utilized in practical situations. For numerous reasons, even after almost a century of existence as a science, we are still trying to find appropriate mews for utilizing psychological information in the various aspects of applied psychology, including edu.
