This research is aimed to study the effect of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship on the Job performance of the External Auditor. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to a random sample of workers in the Capital Companies, and Audit Offices in Jeddah and Riyadh, two major cities of Saudi Arabia. The study utilized descriptive analysis, simple correlation and Linear regression, as the statistical methodology to illustrate the relationships among variables. Results obtained support the interrelation among variables.

The effect of organizational citizenship behavior on organizational commitment

The purpose of this study was to survey the relationship between organizational citizenship behavior and organizational commitment. Research method is descriptive—correlative and it was applied based on the related purpose. Statistical population included all staff of Physical education departments in Iran, whose number was 1, at the time of the study. Also, statistical sample including subjects was selected using Morgan table. The independent variables of research included dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior and the dependent variables included dimensions of organizational commitment. The statistical analyses of the study results show that all alternative hypotheses were supported and the null hypotheses were rejected. Different conditions of organizations at present, increasing rate of competitions and their affection in this condition lead organizations to have new generation of personnel, a generation which is called soldiers of organization.

The dependent variable is the variable that is being measured or tested in an experiment. For example, in a study looking at how tutoring impacts test scores, the dependent variable would be the participants' test scores, since that is what is being measured. In a psychology experiment , researchers are looking at how changes in the independent variable cause changes in the dependent variable. One way to help identify the dependent variable is to remember that it depends on the independent variable. When researchers make changes to the independent variable, they then measure any resulting changes to the dependent variable.
