Language: English Arabic. Faculty development plays a pivotal role in developing competent and effective teachers. However, the transfer of training skills is a complex phenomenon, and not much has been reported about the factors affecting this process, especially in the health sciences. This study aims to explore the factors hindering or aiding the transfer of training newly learned competencies to the workplace. This cross-sectional qualitative study employed a purposive sampling technique and incorporated seven programme developers.

Purpose: This research is focused on examining the factors that influence transfer effectiveness of On-The-Job training at workplaces in Pakistan. Transfer of Training. Methodology: The study adopted quantitative research and data was collected through well-structured questionnaire. The sample of participants were selected throughout Pakistan using convenience sampling technique. Smart PLS software was used to analyse the data through descriptive statistics, structural equation modelling and Confirmatory factor analysis.

Key issues discussed are related to training and development. The significance of the training cannot be ignored in delivering the needed knowledge and capabilities. Therefore, the training should be effective enough to attain these objectives. This study evaluates in accordance with vocational training a number of contextual factors discovered to have an influence in a different combination with other previously examined effective factors.
